We are proud to announce that the Kimpton Hotel Indianapolis is coming in fall 2026! In partnership with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, we are developing the historic 18-story boutique property at 1 North Pennsylvania Street into a mixed-use, one-of-a-kind luxury destination for locals and travelers alike.
The building was the tallest high-rise in Indianapolis when it was built in 1908. Converting it from an office space to a high-end boutique hotel preserves its historic significance while maintaining the growing demand for local hospitality offerings in downtown Indianapolis. It will be a convenient, premium hub for downtown conventions and traveler experiences.
In addition to its 167 guest rooms, 15th-floor historic ballroom, and full-service upscale restaurant, Kimpton Hotel Indianapolis will offer an upscale rooftop cocktail lounge – one of the tallest in the city. With expansive views of downtown, the lounge will be an ideal spot for mixing and mingling, providing guests with a social hub unlike anything else in Indianapolis.

Named for the J.F. Wild & Co. State Bank that established its home in the building in 1923, the J.F. Wild building has been a stately presence in the heart of Indianapolis for over a century. Today, Silverstone is reinvigorating J.F. Wild with due respect to meet the city’s growing demand for hotels.
The building had many owners throughout the 1900s, but fell into disrepair in the 1980s. After its recent stint as an office building, Silverstone is giving the J.F. Wild building the luxury treatment it deserves, including restoring decorative terra cotta and a 29-ton nickel-and-brass-plated bank vault.
J.F. Wild’s location – just a block from Monument Circle at the center of downtown Indianapolis – makes it ideal for both out-of-town visitors and Indianapolis residents. Whether enjoying a performance at the Hilbert Circle Theater or catching a game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse or Lucas Oil Stadium, visitors are steps away from all that Indy has to offer.
